The “WOCHE DES WASSERSTOFFS” (#WDW) is a nine-day event that offers a comprehensive insight into the various facets of hydrogen. Hydrogen (H2) is seen as an essential part of the energy transition as it offers the possibility to store and transport green energy in sufficient quantities. Hydrogen also plays a key role in the decarbonisation of industry, the chemical sector and the transport sector, both on road, rail and in the air.
WDW 2024 covers topics such as mobility, transport, production, storage and infrastructure related to hydrogen. The wide-ranging program is designed to appeal not only to experts, but also to people who are interested in hydrogen, have questions or concerns, or simply want to learn more about hydrogen in general.
This is the sixth year in a row and the second time it has been held nationwide. WDW 2024 offers free insights into the H2 market and brings together different aspects of hydrogen. The events are organised by various stakeholders such as companies, initiatives, associations, cities, municipalities and universities, with programs including lectures, expert talks, live streams, films, factory and laboratory tours, marketplace events, test drives and much more. The goal is to encourage people to actively engage with hydrogen.
