Another successful batch of our SPRINT accelerator program has come to an end: Our start-ups have been hard at work over the past 10 weeks, tackling their challenges and achieving their individual goals. From business strategy to fundraising, they’ve done it all – thanks to the support of the #HYDROVERSE!

Thank you for being part of this journey: Elestor, Eternal Power, NitroFix, Othersphere and REJOOL!

Batch 6 started in September 2024. Days packed with start-up pitches, one-on-one feedback sessions and workshops with industry experts and business mentors. These members of our ever-growing international network were selected and matched to the specific needs of the start-ups. They supported our teams over the 10 weeks through weekly remote sessions.

In addition, onsite days provided high-quality input:

  • Stephan Decher from ZAZ Ventures introduced our start-ups to the various EU funding instruments (Horizon Europe Collaborative Calls, EIC, Eureka Eurostars, Innovation Fund etc.), including first-hand insights into the do’s and dont’s of the application process.
  • Florian Michl and Pierre Huck from our shareholder TÜV SÜD led a workshop on Technical Readiness Level (TRL) assessment and Technical Due Diligence (TDD), to prepare the teams for the process.
  • This edition of the SPRINT also hosted a delegation from InnovateUK. 12 UK hydrogen start-ups were invited to elevator pitches. This gave our start-ups and visitors the opportunity to find synergies and make connections with peers and future partners.
  • Scaling up means growing the team. That is why Michael Johnson from Boss Energy Consulting ran a workshop on hiring talent and best practice to structure the process.

Finally, the European Hydrogen Week 2024 in Brussels provided the perfect platform for the SPRINT Demo Day, including an exclusive pitching slot and plenty of networking opportunities.

If you are a hydrogen start-up and urgently need expertise and funding to scale up your business, be part of our next SPRINT batch #7 in spring 2025!
